Our reception team will advise you of the consultation fee at the time of booking. Payment is required on the day of your appointment. Consultation fees vary depending on whether it is your first visit or a follow-up appointment. Some discounts may be available at the discretion of the practice, including for aged pensioners. A portion of your consultation fee can be claimed back through Medicare following your visit.
Please note that additional costs may apply if a diagnostic test or procedure—such as anorectal manometry—is performed during your consultation. For your convenience, we offer EFTPOS facilities and accept Visa, Mastercard, and cash payments. Our staff are always happy to assist with any questions regarding fees, Medicare rebates, or surgical quotes.
Fee estimates for your procedures will be discussed by our practice manager (Phone number: 0283551891). These will depend on the procedure you are having and your health fund. For those who do not have private health insurance, treatment will be entirely at your own expense. In this instance Medicare will cover some of the doctor’s fees.
If surgery is recommended, patients will be given a written quote prior to surgery. Your Medicare and Private Health Fund (depending on the level of cover) may cover part of the cost of surgery.
